About the Project
Scarlet Energy Storage (Scarlet) is optimally sited in Spotsylvania County, Virginia, on approximately 15 acres, where it interconnects to critical transmission infrastructure at Dominion Energy’s Chancellor Substation. This facility will provide much-needed energy capacity and grid services to Dominion Energy’s electrical grid in the Spotsylvania County area. The project will help Dominion Energy meet rising power demand from residents and businesses, especially during extreme weather events.
